Alibaba's 1688, the group's leading domestic B2B digital supply chain platform, will return to the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) after making its debut at last year's inaugural event.
"Last year's event truly exceeded our expectations," said Yu Yong, CEO of Alibaba 1688, noting the first expo's significant impact.
Yu said the company plans to approach the upcoming expo with increased confidence and enthusiasm.
1688 has recently shifted its focus to comprehensive supply chain integration, particularly in developing China's digital supply chain and new manufacturing service platform. The CISCE offers the company valuable opportunities to connect with potential supply chain partners.
Yu said 1688 will highlight its "Wow Customization" service, which connects factories with consumers, alongside its cross-border supply chain services at this year's event.
"We aim to support more Chinese factories to enter the global market with innovative approaches, serve worldwide customers, and gain international recognition," Yu said.
The second CISCE will run from Nov. 26 to Nov. 30 in Beijing. The expanded event will feature more than 600 exhibitors, with foreign companies representing 32% of participants.
