Established in 1985, China International Exhibition Center Group Limited (CIEC Group) is under direct administration of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). Now it has developed into a group exhibition enterprise with the entire industry chain of exhibition hall management, domestic exhibitions, overseas exhibitions, exhibition design and engineering, exhibition transportation, exhibition information advertising, accommodation and catering, etc. It serves as a chairman unit of China Association for Exhibition Centers as well as chairman unit of CCOIC Convention and Exhibition Industry Committee.

CIEC Group has two exhibition halls. One of them is China International Exhibition Centre (Chaoyang Hall), whose main buildings were completed in October 1985. The hall has approximately 60,000 square meters indoor and outdoor space. In 2008, China International Exhibition Centre (Shunyi Hall) Phase One concluded construction and started operation in Shunyi District in Beijing，with an indoor and outdoor exhibition area of approximately 160,000 square meters. The two exhibition halls have an advantageous geographical location and complete supporting facilities. They are important places for our country to carry out international trade and technological exchange activities.

CIEC Group has played an active role in cooperating with our country's major diplomatic and foreign trade activities. In recent years, it has successfully completed the design and construction of the China-Africa Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition in South Africa, the China Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition in Brazil, and the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Exhibition, China-Latin America Industrial Cooperation and Commodity Exhibition and other national projects. In terms of domestic exhibitions, CIEC Group participates in hosting and undertaking the Beijing International Auto Show, Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, and Building Materials Series Exhibition. In terms of overseas exhibitions, it covers more than ten industries such as building materials, energy, and optoelectronics. CIEC Group also undertook the design and construction of the three joint exhibition parks of the Beijing Expo, the integrated design and construction of the China Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo, as well as the design and construction of part of the exhibits and the transportation of exhibits for the China International Import Expos. CIEC group has long advocated the healthy and orderly development of China's exhibition industry and contributed to the common progress of the industry.
