The 3rd CISCE South Korea Roadshow Successfully Held in Seoul

On April 10th, the 3rd CISCE Roadshow took place in Seoul. Wang Zhilin, Minister-counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Korea, Jun-Ho Choi, Honorary President of Ministry of Science and ICT of the South Korea and China, and Gao Chen, President of the China Chamber of Commerce in Korea, attended and addressed the event.

Wang Zhilin stated that the industrial and supply chains of China and Korea are deeply integrated, forming a cooperative framework where we all have a stake in each other’s future. The CISCE, as an important international public good launched by China, provides a platform for enterprises to explore markets and foster exchanges. The CISCE welcomes active participation from South Korean businesses for further development.

The representatives from the South Korean business community expressed that the economies of China and Korea are highly complementary, noting that South Korean companies are actively investing in industries, including semiconductor, new energy battery, and artificial intelligence in China. The CISCE provides a significant platform for South Korean companies to expand into international markets and engage in global industrial chain cooperation. Amid current complex global dynamics, South Korean and Chinese companies should leverage the CISCE to enhance communication and deepen cooperation, jointly promoting the stable and long-term development of bilateral economic and trade relations.

This event was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). Over 100 representatives from trade and investment promotion institutions, business associations, chambers of commerce and enterprises of both China and South Korea participated in the forum. During the conference, China International Exhibition Center Group promoted the 3rd CISCE, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Representative Office in Korea signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with relevant Chinese and South Korean institutions.
